waiting for joining

huh waiting for satyam has given me time for many things ..... believe me after four yrs i had been able to sleep till ten ... , catching up wid my friends ... reading my books of sidney ( my fav)... listening to some wonderful music.... learning to drive car ....(which i started well in 3rd yr)... to visit my relatives(now i m the goody goody gal in my family) ....watching movies... (my mom complaints i spent more bucks than during coll outings) yet the question of joining ll always sprang up where ever i go(err........) .. but ppl console me i ll be joining soon...... tis had been the situation till sep.....
but now ........... everybody talks abt us ress.... do this course and do learn this..... any article regarding satyam ll be forwarded to my mail or passed thru mob mess( i m the only one who graduated this yr in my whole bunch of cousins) ... wats happening to ur job is the hot fav question among ppl i see.... even the neighbour kid (hardly four yr old ) questions me wat i m doing dese days???).... so i thought of going for temp job... (another failed mission).... y to come for tis job after completing engg deg....
now its gonna be dec ... hoping tat i ll be a true satyamite in 2009.... god saves us from ress and get the joining from satyam... let me ve fun in work.... enough of having fun in home..

day into satyam

my placement quest for satyam started on 22nd march in chennai... we took up the test by 10 in the morning .. it was a paper of 30 mins duration ... bit tough but can be tackled well... the results for the apps round was out by four in the evening... had nice time in between hours... cracking jokes .. i wasnt upto my confident level since my 1st interview wid infy busted... thank god i cleared the 1st round along wid ten of my classmates... then the next day we had gd round... i was pretty confindent tat i wud make thru tis .. but wen i saw my fellow mates i again dropped down... everybody prepared with a topic and discussing it.. think i wud be the only one who came fresh.. the topic was to be decided by us.. so one gal suggested "are women being respected in india " i realised god was with me tat time since i made a presentation in tat before a week... then gd went smooth and we were given the results by 2.00pm ... then came the hr ... it was really the worst moment... we nearly waited for one hour to go into the panel itself but lady who interviewed was very nice asked some few questions and said to wait for results(tis was at four pm).... then the endless waiting for results took place nearly till 9.30 until everybody finished hr... and at last results were out and myself including three of my bus mates got selected .. our joys were immensed we didnt even follow the other things said by them.... i reached home by eleven in night ... the most memorable day in my life

The GooD, The BaD & The WaiTing....

Well with an all time low moral I went to Sri Ram College of Engineering & Technology on 21 of March 2007...after all u cannot expect me to be high on confidence after being rejected from TCS...but i suppose that was my D-DAy. The aptitude exam was scheduled at 9.30a.m. IST..with that in mind (IST) i reached my center at 10.00a.m. We were taken into a room where i saw, to my surprise, more candidates then what i actually anticipated. Nearly 3455 engineers , all well deressed, waiting for the exam to start. The paper started and i was off to a flash; it was a HalF n Hour paper with moderate difficulty level. Half past 12 the paper was over. The result was announced at 4.00 p.m.....( phewww a Long wait) but all that waiting ended on a GooD note....i qualified the written , but.....while announcing the result the HR gave us a few gitters....." STudents nearly 3500 students appeared in the exam...n we have short-listed 478 students to face the group discussion round " ( waooo.. call that for an example: scary)

Next day was the GD/Pi round.......luckily for me..( unluckily for some...) our batch comprised of people who were known for there tremendous oratory skills. We were given the topic " Smartworkers V/s Hardworkers...demand of 21st century "....I initiated the GD which is always a gud sign ....after all the groups completed , HR announced the result,not surprisingly, while annoucing it he gave us some more gitters to deal with. " Friend out off 478 cantidates we have short listed 78 candidates to face the persobnal iNterview ". Every time he said this, i was reminded of Mahindra & Mahindra ( company scheduled next to visit jabalpur for its campus recrruitment drive) . But again i qualified the GD round.

Then came the Pi ......n Yes, i was the first candidated out of 78 other to go for my interview. The HR took just 2-3 min to decide that "yes" u r fit for this company...!!! Finally out of 78 people they took 33 students . I immediatly called my parents & told them that ur Good 4 nothing ChiLd has got his 1st JoB...!!!

After that...its just waiting...waiting....n more waiting....but i presumed that Joining will not b b4 october ( as my seniors were called in January) ....Sometimes i thought of opting for some other options....buT SATYAM the BRand....stooped my furthur thinking....!!! I dont know for how long m i suppose to wait.....but whatever will happen will happen 4 gud....!!!!
